Exhibition, sauna and shelters along a hiking trail
- Type: Academic design project
- Programme: Exhibition building, rest area, sauna, camping shelters
With no staff on site, the place must tell its own story. The design is part of the hiking experience — like a trail that rewards you with undulating paths and fresh views. Bent structures gather light from different directions, and full-height windows at intervals recall trees in a forest with light passing between them.
The site plan moves from public to private: the exhibition building is seen from the access road, then the communal rest area; the sauna stands apart, and private camping spots spread into the deeper woods. Clear entrances let visitors find their own way, take their time and enjoy.
Project: Individual design project — concept, site plan and renders.
